Thomas R Turnbaugh, M.D.
Thomas R. Turnbaugh, M.D., of Turnbaugh Surgical Associates, Inc. is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was born and raised in Missouri. His undergraduate education was at the University of Missouri where he received his B.A. degree. He attended medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his M.D. His postgraduate internship in general surgery was at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where he as the Assistant Resident in Orthopedic Surgery. Later, he became Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
His hospital affiliation is with the Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri.
Accumulating over 30 years of experience practicing Orthopaedic care, he is an expert in surgically treating conditions that involve the musculoskeletal system including performing total joint replacements and the repair of fractures. He specializes in treating and correcting fractures in both adults and children in the Moberly and Jefferson City, Missouri areas.
